Data Systems Development, Inc. Presents the virtualTapedrive
May 1, 2003 -- Data Systems Development, Inc., a Bettendorf, Iowa
company, has announced the availability of their new off-site data storage
service, virtualTapedrive.
virtualTapedrive manages the complexity of secure, off-site data storage
by using a digital electronic key to prove identity when registering a
computer with the storage service.
This approach to proving identity makes virtualTapedrive unique among
storage service providers.
virtualTapedrive provides five classes of storage models:
Archive for storing historical information
Routine for daily storage of working files
Snapshot for saving a set of files at one point in time
Shared for sharing data with employees who are traveling
Critical for storing files as soon as they are changed
Once installed and configured virtualTapedrive can backup and restore your
files without requiring a user to be logged into the computer.
Daily email reports keep the account owner, as well as each user, informed
of the status of their data security.
virtualTapedrive requires a high speed Internet connection and Windows 98,
ME, NT, 2000 or XP.
